OUR HISTORY
Capital Christian Centre was formed way back in 1980 by Pastor Abraham and Sister Joyce in their living room. This church was founded with the sole vision to reach out to the people in need in the city of New Delhi. Over the past 40 years, the church has brought thousands of people to the knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Now, with three campuses and over 400 believers, we aspire to be the hands and feet of the hurting and lost in the city of Delhi through the church, humanitarian efforts, community development programs, and all other tools to facilitate and promote the mandate given to us. It is the desire of the church that the vision of CCC will live on through the generations to come.
OUR BELIEFS
Bible
We believe the Bible to be the only divinely inspired, infallible Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Trinity
We believe there is only one Triune God who eternally exists in three persons: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19, John 10:30)
Jesus Christ (The Son)
We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, that He is God, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His death that paid for our sin through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension/rising up to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. (John 1:1; Matthew 1:18, 25; Hebrews 4:15; Acts 1:9-11; Hebrews 9:27-28)
Holy Spirit
We believe that acceptance of Jesus Christ and the corresponding renewal of the Holy Spirit in one’s life are the only paths to salvation for lost/sinful men and women. (John 3:16; John 5:24; Titus 3:3-7)
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who lives within Christians and guides them, enabling them to live godly lives. (John 14:15-26; Ephesians 1:13-14)
Eternal Life
We believe in eternal life, and that through belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, we spend eternity with the Lord in Heaven. We also believe that rejecting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior results in eternal separation from God with suffering in hell. (Matthew 25:31-46; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
Spirituality
We believe that God created all human beings in His image. Therefore, we believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end and that we must honor the physical and spiritual needs of all people. Following Christ’s example, we believe that every person should be treated with love, dignity, and respect. (Psalm 139:13; Genesis 1:27; Matthew 22:37-39; Romans 12:20-21; Galatians 6:10)
