OUR HISTORY

CCC was formed way back in 1980 by Ps. Abraham and Sis. Joyce in their living room. This church was founded with the sole vision to reach out to the people in need in the city of New Delhi. Over the past 40 years the church has brought thousands of people to the knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Now with three campuses and over 400 believers we aspire to be the hands and feet of the hurting and lost in the city of Delhi to the church, humanitarian efforts, community development programmes and all other tools to facilitate and promote the mandate given to us. It is the desire of the church that the vision of CCC will live on through the generations to come.

OUR BELIEFS

Bible

We believe the Bible to be the only divinely inspired, infallible Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Trinity

We believe there is only one Triune God who eternally exists in three persons: The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Matthew 28:19, John 10:30

Jesus Christ (The Son)

We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, that He is God, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His death that paid for our sin through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension/rising up to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory. John 1:1; Matthew 1:18,25; Hebrews 4:15; Acts 1:9-11; Hebrews 9:27-28

Holy Spirit

We believe that acceptance of Jesus Christ and the corresponding renewal of the Holy Spirit in one’s life are the only paths to salvation for lost/sinful men and women. John 3:16; John 5:24; Titus 3:3-7

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who lives within Christians and guides them, such that they are enabled to live godly lives. John 14:15-26; Ephesians 1:13-14

Eternal Life

We believe in eternal life, and that through belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God, we spend eternity with the Lord in Heaven. We believe that in rejecting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, the lives of such individuals end with eternal separation from God with suffering in hell. Matthew 25:31-46; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

Spirituality

We believe that God created all human beings in His image. Therefore, we believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end and that we must honour the physical and spiritual needs of all people. Following Christ’s example, we believe that every person should be treated with love, dignity, and respect. Psalm 139:13; Genesis 1:27; Matthew 22:37-39; Romans 12:20-21; Galatians 6:10

CCC thrives under the dynamic leadership of our Senior Pastor Rev. R Abraham and First Lady Sis. Joyce. The church was founded by Rev Dr. Abraham and his wonderful wife Joyce, in 1980 right after they had moved to Delhi from the state of Kerala. The first service started with a humble beginning in their living room that has now grown into a thriving church in the heart of the city of Delhi, India. The church that was born and still is his main passion, focuses on connecting the people of Delhi and he hopes to bring many people to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. Apart from being the Senior Pastor of Capital Christian Centre, Rev Dr. Abraham, is also the co-founder of an organization that has over 4000 churches, orphanages, bible colleges, schools and offices. His vision was and still is to transform the city of Delhi with the power of God and make true disciples of Jesus Christ. Sis. Joyce is passionate about serving the women of Capital Christian Center while equipping and encouraging them to do more for the body of Christ. She leads the “Fasting and Praying Marathon” and the “Chain Prayer” apart from the many other women’s meetings. Like her husband, her vision is to transform the city of Delhi with the power of God and make true disciples of Jesus Christ one family at a time. The heart of this duo is to serve God and His people and lead them to a life that’s Christ centred.
